--You as a member are responsible to know and be updated on the rules--

The Rules consist of:

Guild rules and policies
Raid Rules
DKP Rules

Guild Rules and Policies

Behavior.
You are at all times a representative of the guild and all of your actions and words reflect on all of us. Do not participate in ooc/shout wars, do not KS, do not deliberately train others. Treat others with respect and, if a problem does occur, extricate yourself as diplomatically as possible.

Officers & Raid Council.
The officers have a deep desire to act in the best interests of the guild as a whole. Suggestions and constructive criticisms are encouraged but not in the midst of a raid. Only RC members give instructions during a raid.

Raids.
Raids are mandatory unless otherwise clearly stated or if a special exception is given. If you wish to be exempt from a Raid you should send a Tell to a RC member when the raid is called. Basically, if you are online and have time to play (like 2hours at least?) then you are expected to come to Raid on your main character.

Raids Schedule.
Day on - day off.

Forums.
We ask you to check the boards as often as possible. It is the one way all guild members can be reached and may provide useful information on strategy/mobs up and special requirements that may be needed.

Alts.
Alts can be guilded as long as they meet guild requirements.

Guild Goals.
The guild is primarily about raids, fun and friends. There is no limit to what the guild can achieve if we all work hard enough are determined enough and have fun doing it. The long term goal is to kill every named in VG but we need to build our way there, upgrading members equipment and spells, learn tactics, and most of all how to cooperate in the best possible way.

Short Term Raiding Goals:
* Complete griffon quest
* Get Shylosia on farm status
* Kill Exalted X-99

We are currently raiding as part of the Halgar Raiding Alliance (Heroes of the Flame, Martis Dies Decuria and Chaos Justice)
Raid Rules

Always use assist!
unless told specifically to do otherwise (ie: Mezzers/Debuffers etc.) assist the MA. Do not ever engage a mob if you are not the MA. This includes both melee and ranged. Rationale: We usually try to mez the adds. If you don't assist it is likely you will hit the wrong mob and break a mez, and that might wipe the Raid. If you attack a different mob to the rest of the raid, both mobs will go down slower. We usually focus all the DPS on ONE mob so it dies faster.

Engage only when called!
Please do not engage the mob till the MA ask for it.

Listen to the raid leaders!
We have to use a chain of command if we want to be efficient at raiding. Don't give out orders if you are not one of the raid leaders. A raid needs structure and organization or it can fail. Do you want to be the reason a raid fails? Try to limit AFKs, but if there is an emergency, let others know about it. If you have any suggestions while raiding that can't wait until the raid is over, try to /tell raid leaders about it. Please do not spam raid leaders with tells though unless it is important.

Do not train the raid!
If you go LD, AFK, get lost or whatever and come back in the middle of spawns, be very carefull when trying to find the raid. Do not train the Raid!. Rationale: It is much more likely that you will get a rez and get back with the raid if you just die in a convenient place and let raid know where you died. If you train the raid, you will most likely have to wait much longer to get that rez and could even wipe the raid. Sacrifice yourself if it is better for the raid. Don't worry, the raid will get you a rez in 99% of the cases, else we'll just summon you back.

Keep quiet if you dont have anything that is raid related to say or ask!
Don't spam the raidchannel with junk. If there are channel spams, people will most likely miss some of the important information the raid leader gives in that channel. Please use teamheroes or guildchat for freetalk. Please do not engage in general chatter in any channel while the raid leaders are issuing the Strat for a mob. Even if you know the strat improtant information could be missed by those who do not.

If anyone is uncertain regarding any tactic during a raid, just ASK ) If we fight a mob we've done like a gazillion times, raidleaders sometimes "assume" or take for granted that everyone know what to do.

The right way to get info, I would think is this ...
- Ask anyone present at raid, of your own class, in tell
- Ask in group
- Ask in /ra

If you do not have a CLEAR answer and still do NOT know what to do, use CAPS in raidchannel, like "WHAT IS RAMPAGE? I SERIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW"
